As too hot weather and desk work continued, I accumulated excess calories again. We harvested watermelons, oriental melons, pumpkins and other caloric sources from our garden that made up this month’s self-supply ratio of 20%. We also had bunches of home-grown moroheiya which contributed to our perfect vitamin and mineral scores for the month.
