You may think our food cost must be high as a natural result of eating lots of fruits and meats. As I am showing in the monthly review, our food cost is no more expensive than average Japanese families. It is true that fruits and meats are expensive, especially fruits are unbelievably expensive in Japan because it costs a lot to grow fruits in this damp country where everything goes rotten at an incredible rate.
Then why can we keep our food cost low? I think there are three factors. First, we can bulk buy bananas, beef and other our major foods because our food line up is simple. Since we eat in mono-meal style, we eat the same food a lot at the same time. Second, we don’t eat out or buy highly processed foods or ready-to-eat foods which price contains lots of processing cost. Instead we buy natural whole foods and just eat them raw or cook them ourselves if necessary. Therefore we need not pay for the food processing cost. Third, we are growing vegetables and fruits in our own garden. Though we haven’t been able to succeed in growing bananas yet, our food costs will reduce further as we increase the number and variety of fruits trees in future.

Weight Change
Born 1967, Hiroshima, Japan.
In 2009, I made up my mind to eliminate any and all of GMO(genetically-modified organisms) from my life, leading to whole grains vegan diet, and further into low-fat-raw-vegan (the 80/10/10) diet. Finally in 2017, I found just stop eating “seeds” can make us healthy. I named the set of my idea “The Orgasmic Diet.”
My dream is to live in tropical, high-elevation place, probably somewhere in Colombia, with cows and fruit trees.
