Weekly Diet Review for Dec 31, 2017–Jan 6, 2018

This table shows top 10 foods I took last week. It is a calorie-based ranking.

Mikan and bananas supplied 38% of my total calories. But the interesting point is soba noodle. It ranked 6th and accounted for 5% of my total calories even though I had it only once on New Year’s eve. It was nothing much, I felt. This is what seeds (grains) do to you. You might think you are a very raw food person and eat just a little bit of cooked grains. Please calculate your calorie intake and confirm if it is true. You are not as raw foodist as your impression tell you.

Intake of Three Basic Components of ORS (per Day)

Caloric Balance and Macronutrient Ratio (kcal/day)

Dietary Reference Intakes for Japanese (DRI) 2015 formulated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) provides the Dietary Goal (DG) of macronutrient ratio: Carbs 50-65%, Fats 20-30%, Proteins 13-20% and Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) of proteins intake: 60g/day for males in my age (50-69 years). My macronutrient ratio and protein intake (89g/day) of last week all satisfied DRI.

There were three meat days. Though beef brisket is high in fat, kangaroo and horse meat are low in calorie. Weekly average intake was 2,122kcal/day.

Weather condition was relatively good and I could burn calories by garden works smoothly. Burnt calorie was 2,200 kcal/day.

Calorie intake and outgo were almost balanced.

82% of total calorie came from Flesh and Fresh foods. Seeds were 11%. Raw food ratio was 71%, by calorie of course, not by my feelings.

My Weight has reduced at the rate of 212g/day.
