Today I took 5.6 liter of water. It is said that most people are dehydrated. Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare recommends to take 2.5 liter of water everyday: 1.0 L from foods, 0.3 L from metabolism and 1.2 L from water drinking. I am taking more than double of this recommendation. For the past ten days, I took 5.7 L of water per day: 1.5 L from foods and 4.2 L from DEWS.
Why do people get dehydrated? Because they eat seeds. Seeds contain little water. Though the rice consumption in Japan has been decreasing, Japanese staple is still rice. In terms of hydration, rice is better than wheat because water is added when rice is cooked. But still, average Japanese are taking only 1.0 L from foods. I am mainly eating flesh and fresh foods, so my intake of water from foods is half as much again as average Japanese. But still, that is not enough. I was surprised when I found that fact. I mean we still get dehydrated even if we eat fruits a lot, by buying insanely expensive fruits in this DAMP country Japan.
It seems that human beings are designed to drink water… with SALT. I can’t drink water as much as 4.2 L if it were not DEWS.
